Known for his groundbreaking work as a solo artist and as the lead singer and songwriter for the seminal group The Police, Sting has consistently pushed the boundaries of musical innovation throughout his illustrious career. Each Sting 3.0 show is a perfect occasion to relive all of his greatest hits as a solo artist and with The Police, through the eyes and interpretation of a trio of accomplished musicians, comprised of: Chris Maas on drums, and the Argentine guitarist Dominic Millerwith whom he has worked and collaborated since the 90s. The consolidated work with these artists inspired his new song, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)”.
Sting first came to Argentina in 1980, when The Police were rising to international stardom, and since then, the English musician has visited the country numerous times, both with the band and as a soloist, with the highlight being, of course, his show in December 1987, when he became the first rocker to fill the River Plate Stadium. The last time he came to Argentina was in 2017, when he presented his album 54th & 9th at the Hipódromo de Palermo. Seven years later, he will be premiering the songs from The Bridge (2021), his fifteenth studio album, in these latitudes.
