Is there a bonus in October for ANSES retirees?

Although confirmation of a bond was expected Reinforcement of up to $70,000 by October 2024, The pension agency announced that it will stop granting this additional benefit to retirees and pensioners. This measure, which was part of the economic support for the elderly in the face of inflation, will be eliminated under the 2025 budget. For months, the bonus was essential to compensate for the loss of purchasing power, especially among those receiving the minimum pension.

Although pensions will continue to increase under the Retirement Mobility Law, there are fears that the increases will not be enough to counteract inflation. For now, no alternative measures have been announced to compensate for the elimination of the bonus.
