Simone Ballack has emigrated – where she was drawn

She is only visiting Germany: 47-year-old Simone Ballack has moved her life abroad. There she is living her dream.

Simone Ballack has apparently turned her back on Germany. The ex-wife of former DFB captain Michael Ballack revealed to the “Abendzeitung München” that she has emigrated: to Lake Garda. “I’m moving my entire life to Italy. I’ve been there the whole time and I’m only ever visiting Munich,” she told the paper on the occasion of a visit to the Oktoberfest. She has always been a guest there and will continue to be in the future.

Simone Ballack becomes hotel manager

It has also been revealed what the 47-year-old will be doing in her new home: Simone Ballack is apparently overseeing her ex-partner Heiko Grote’s hotel construction site and will take over the management and operations of the hotel after it opens next year. According to her own statement, this is a dream come true for her: “It was always my wish to have a hotel and live abroad,” she is quoted as saying in the “Abendzeitung”.

Simone Ballack was in a relationship with Michael Ballack for 14 years and they were married in 2008. The couple have three sons together. In 2021, the middle son Emilio was killed in a quad bike accident in Portugal at the age of 18. In her second marriage, she was married to her childhood friend Andreas Mecky and after their separation she was in a relationship with the entrepreneur Heiko Grote. In May, Grote told Bild that the couple were separated “on trial”.
