Peter Zwegat: Funeral in the closest circle
Zwegat leaves behind his wife Liane Scholze, whom he married in Zanzibar in 2011 after around five years of dating. According to RTL information, the funeral took place in the closest circle. Born in Berlin, Zwegat studied social education after training as an administrative officer and worked for Berlin’s youth welfare service until the end of the 1980s. He then moved to the “Service for Employees and Companies” association and became a debt and insolvency advisor.
From 2007 to 2015, he appeared in around 140 episodes of the RTL reality TV series “Get Out of Debt” and numerous special programs in which he helped over-indebted people get back on their feet. He also appeared on various talk shows, had guest appearances in comedy formats and was, among other things, a candidate in a celebrity special of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” in 2009.
