Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht revealed in a podcast how the negative headlines of the past few years have affected him.
Actor and musician Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (32) talked about his emotional world. The TV star, who has had to deal with a lot of negative headlines in recent years, explained that he generally didn’t have a great need to communicate “with what was going on.” He knew for himself “what is true and what is not true.” The 32-year-old said in the podcast that he doesn’t have to convince people of the truth who have nothing to do with it or don’t want to be convinced.
There has been a stir in recent years, among other things, due to a partially public argument between Ochsenknecht and his ex-girlfriend, reality star Yeliz Koc (30). The two have their daughter Snow (2), whom Ochsenknecht is hardly supposed to care for, as the 30-year-old has already claimed several times. There are also said to have been tensions with his mother Natascha (60) and sister Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (24). He was no longer there in the last season of the documentary soap “These Ochsenknechts”.
“Just lived with fear”
Getting to a point of opening up was a process, said Ochsenknecht. “I had phases where I just sat on the sofa, my hair was greasy, I couldn’t even cry anymore.” The 32-year-old, who also reported death threats, was afraid of picking up his cell phone “and seeing something again.” The actor added that he sometimes just lived with fear.
“It was so impactful that I couldn’t ignore it anymore,” he said. Then he withdrew. “I didn’t go out anymore.” He “really had social anxiety” and still has it to some extent, says Ochsenknecht. He also explained that he now wanted to show what he was processing through his music. That’s why the last songs are more emotional. Elsewhere in the podcast, the musician and TV star also revealed that he was speaking to a therapist. It’s good for him to have someone he can trust and talk to about anything. He also advises listeners to show feelings.
Natascha and Uwe Ochsenknecht’s son (68), who became famous with “The Wild Guys”, will soon be back with a new TV project. He appears in the Halloween special of “The Traitors – Trust No One!” (premiering on RTL+ from Thursday, October 10th).
