Pamela Anderson used to sometimes wish her parents would split up. In the interview she explains why she looks at the relationship between the two differently today.
Actress Pamela Anderson says she has learned to stay out of her parents’ relationship. “There were many times when I didn’t want her to stay,” the 57-year-old told the US magazine “Glamour”, referring to her mother’s relationship with her father. He was a “terrible drinker”.
But her parents “managed it,” explained Anderson. “They are madly in love.” She adds, “And I just accepted that their relationship is theirs; it’s none of my business.”
The Canadian-born “Baywatch” icon’s parents met when they were teenagers. When Anderson was born, her mother was 17 and her father was 19. She later had a little brother.Pamela Anderson herself has two grown sons from her first marriage to drummer Tommy Lee in the 90s. She was also married to musician Kid Rock (Bob Ritchie) and married actor Rick Salomon twice, but these marriages were short-lived. Several other short relationships later became known.
