Expert veterinarians recommend:

  • Monitor the temperature of the vehicle. Ensure adequate ventilation at all times.
  • Visit the vet before traveling and make sure your vaccinations are up to date.
  • In turn, failure to comply with measures regarding the proper care of animals inside the vehicle, and that are contrary to the norm, is considered a serious offense, and an infraction will be charged with an amount between $3,500 and $7,000.
