How to find the WhatsApp recycle bin

To find the WhatsApp trash and recover space, you have to follow these steps:

  • Open WhatsApp on your device.
  • Go to Settings (or Settings).
  • Select Storage and data.
  • Tap Manage Storage.
  • Here you will see a list of chats and multimedia files. Look for the Trash option at the bottom (if available).
  • In the trash, you will be able to see recently deleted files. Select the ones you want to recover or empty the trash to free up space.

How to delete WhatsApp messages on iPhone

Delete Individual Messages

  • Open WhatsApp and go to the chat where the message you want to delete is.
  • Press and hold the message you want to delete.
  • Tap “Delete” in the menu that appears.
