What does the Single Paper Ballot consist of?
In this electoral mechanism, all candidates competing for the same position are presented to the voter on a single ballot. That is to say, a role for each category: governor, mayor, deputy, senator, councilor.
The candidates are displayed with the logo and name of the alliance, the name of the list and the photo of the holders, while the substitutes appear only with their names. It can be said that it passes from a suffrage by political force, as happens with the traditional ballot, to another based on personal attributes.
Although the designs of the BUP may be different depending on the jurisdictionsNext to each competitor, the ballots usually have a box to select a single candidate with a pen.
