Superstar Lady Gaga (38) is currently taking every opportunity to publicly rave about her fiancé Michael Polansky (46). Shortly after they appeared deeply in love together at the premiere of their new film “Joker: Folie à Deux” in Los Angeles, Lady Gaga followed up. The musician not only revealed to the moderator how cute Polansky had asked for her hand in marriage in April. She also gave the first hints about what to expect from her wedding.
Neither of them yet knew what exactly the celebrations might look like. However, they are in active communication about this. Above all, the two extremes, how could it be otherwise, seem to appeal to Lady Gaga the most: “We actually talk a lot about just going to the registry office as a couple and then ordering Chinese. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel (56), the 13-time Grammy award winner also revealed how her lover had asked for her hand in marriage. […] We climbed back down and just went back to the room” – and he chose exactly this anticlimactic moment. Not to ask her if she wanted to marry him, however. But to ask her if he could even propose to her.
“It was so typical of Michael to ask me if he could ask me out. He wanted to know if it was okay to ask for my hand in marriage. I just replied: ‘Yes! It’s okay!'” He then took it out of his backpack pulled out the engagement ring – “it was so super sweet”.
Lady Gaga and Michael Polanksy have been together since 2020. The singer and the tech entrepreneur met a year earlier through Gaga’s mother, Cynthia Germanotta. At the Super Bowl 2020 they presented themselves to the public as a couple for the first time.
