David Schumacher comments on the argument between his parents Cora and Ralf

Ralf Schumacher and his ex-wife Cora have repeatedly railed against each other since he came out. Now their son intervenes and makes serious allegations.

Since Ralf Schumacher’s coming out in July of this year, the 49-year-old and his ex-wife Cora have been engaged in a public mud fight. Both accuse each other of not telling the truth in interviews and take legal action against each other. Now the ex-couple’s son has spoken out for the first time. In an Instagram story, David Schumacher makes serious allegations against his mother that go back to his childhood. The now 22-year-old describes several incidents that, according to him, led him to want to stay with his father and not with his mother after his parents separated.

Cora and Ralf Schumacher were married from 2001 to 2015. The separation took place in 2009. David Schumacher then grew up with his father Ralf in the family villa near Salzburg, where he still lives today.

In his posting, David Schumacher writes, among other things: “I gave my mother the chance several times and tried several times to reconcile with her. Unfortunately, it never worked. (…) My father always did everything I should have a good relationship with my mother. Over the years, Dad has repeatedly persuaded me that I should give her another chance. I have always blocked it because I no longer have the desire or the nerve to go through the same thing again. “

According to the 22-year-old, he just wants to live his life in peace and achieve his goals without being repeatedly asked about his mother’s accusations. “This is the first and last time I will speak publicly on this private issue!” he writes. Cora Schumacher is now taking legal action against her son’s statements. David Schumacher also published a photo of the letter in his Instagram story.

Ralf Schumacher celebrated his coming out on his Instagram account on July 14th. He posted a photo showing him with his partner Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne. The ex-racing driver wrote: “The best thing in life is when you have the right partner at your side with whom you can share everything.” As Schumacher later revealed in an interview with “RTL Exclusiv”, he had not told his son in advance that he wanted to make his love public. David Schumacher commented on the picture with the words: “I’m very happy that you’ve finally found someone with whom you can really tell that you feel very comfortable and secure, regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman. I’m behind you 100 percent Dad and wish you all the best and congratulations.”
