In 2007 he completed two master’s degrees at the University of Manchester: one in Urban Planning and the other in Sociology. After graduating in 2011, she began a PhD in Geography at the University of Leeds with a thesis titled: “Sexuality and transnationalism in everyday life. Southeast Asian Bisexual and Gay Men in Manchester”, which was cut short by his arrest in 2017.
His criminal activity began in 2015, and by 2017 there were at least 200 sexual assaults.. Only 48 men ended up reporting him to the English authorities. Their victims tended to be young people between 18 and 36 years old with some type of vulnerability due to alcohol, drugs, or who had fallen behind from their groups of friends and were in poor condition to return home.

When his friends complained to him that “he always got a different man, every week,” he responded, “Manchester is a magical city. City of gay romance, city of gay love. It all ended when one of his victims, who had gone up to his apartment to spend the night away from the cold of Manchester, woke up naked being sexually assaulted. When he tried to get him off of him, he bit him and struggled, but he finally managed to knock him out and was able to escape with his belongings to report him to the City police.
When they raided his house, they found evidence of his countless crimes. Writings, videos and drugs.
