After weeks of controversy surrounding her ex-husband’s coming out, Cora Schumacher is temporarily withdrawing from social media. The reason: numerous hate messages.
Ralf Schumacher’s ex-wife, Cora Schumacher, wants to temporarily withdraw from social networks because of hate messages and death threats. “Due to the hate messages that increased after my son’s statement – including death threats and calls for suicide – I am withdrawing from social media for the time being,” Schumacher wrote in an Instagram story. The 47-year-old described the attacks against her as “unbearable”.
Schumacher has also deactivated the comment function under her posts. After Ralf Schumacher came out in July, the former racing driver and his ex-wife had a public exchange of words. One of the central questions was when and how Cora found out about the coming out. A few days ago, their son David made allegations against his mother on Instagram.
Ralf Schumacher is the brother of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher and was also a successful racing driver himself. He was married to Cora, but the couple has been separated for several years.
