Fashion Week Review – Spring/Summer 25: Everyone wants to wear these styles in winter

The fashion shows are over, the trends for the coming year have been set: the styles can be worn in autumn and winter.

The fashion weeks for spring and summer 2025 are over. The designs by designers in London, Paris, New York and Milan have awakened the desire for fresh styles. Some of the upcoming fashion trends can already be wonderfully integrated into our autumn and winter wardrobes. Here are the most important fashion developments that fashion fans want to wear right now.

Soft power dressing

The return of power dressing in a new, softer version was one of the most striking trends of fashion weeks. Designers like Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta showed extravagant, feminine business looks for the coming summer – with glittering jackets in gold, XXL blazers, lace-trimmed skirts and oversized trousers. These “soft power dressing” looks are not only ideal for the office, but also a great alternative to a nice dress for elegant evening events. For fall and winter 2024, this look can be adapted with heavier fabrics like wool or cashmere and styled with an elegant turtleneck or silky blouse.

Romantic volume

Romantic fashion is back: in the form of voluminous, floral dresses and flowing silhouettes. At Loewe and Chloé, white A-line dresses and floor-length skirts in floral patterns and light fabrics enchanted the front row. But why wait for spring to do that? In autumn and winter, romantic, feminine dresses can be combined with cardigans or oversized coats. Floral patterns in muted colors such as dark green, burgundy red or midnight blue look particularly elegant.

Fringes are back!

Fringes were everywhere at fashion weeks – from Gucci to Diesel to Ralph Lauren. Whether on coats, dresses or bags: Fringes give every outfit a certain lightness and movement. We can already use this trend in everyday life in autumn: the fringed items, such as a leather jacket, are combined with clear, minimalist basics.

Boho chic sends its regards

The boho trend is experiencing a revival! Among other things, Chloé and Fendi brought long, flowing dresses with lace details back to the catwalks. In fall and winter 2024, these flowing garments can be styled together in a layered look with warmer fabrics such as velvet or wool. Nice cozy combination: a boho dress with a chunky cardigan or a long coat. Earth tones such as terracotta, beige and olive green harmonize perfectly with the autumnal color palette.
