Cristina Kirchner accepted the application to lead the PJ
This Monday, Cristina Kirchner accepted the nomination to lead the national Justicialist Party (PJ) and highlighted the need to “straighten and order” Peronism through an internal debate that “rebuilds its strength and addresses new social demands.”
After the “outcry” operation launched last week by numerous Kirchnerist leaders for the former president to lead the PJ, Cristina published an extensive public letter in which she reviews recent history in the country, concluding with an analysis of the current situation and the future of Justicialism.
On the last page of the document, under the subtitle “Straighten and order”, he stated: “Ayes things, today Peronism only governs 5 of the 23 Argentine provinces and lost the majority in the Chamber of Senators; “This is a situation of loss of institutional representation unprecedented in the democratic period.”
On this point, she stated: “I want to tell you that I am willing, once again, to accept the challenge of debating in unity Because if I am also clear about something, it is that there is no one left over here. However, unity needs direction and a project to build the best possible Peronism in an Argentina that has become impossible for the majority of its inhabitants.”
