Three days after releasing their new album, the band presented a deluxe edition and at a show in New York they presented their new songs.
Coldplay released the deluxe edition of “Moon Music”now called “Moon Music (Full Moon Edition)”which features new collaborations with Jon Hopkins and Matty Healy of The 1975.

Yesterday (October 7), just three days after releasing the standard edition of “Moon Music”, Coldplay released the “Full Moon” edition, which comes with 10 bonus tracks; including several live recordings.


The 10 new songs include a collaboration with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and two new tracks with Jon Hopkins. The song on which Healy collaborates is titled “The Karate Kid”. While the song does not feature the musician singing, he has provided the song with additional production and piano work.

Jon Hopkins’ two new songs (Hopkins already produced several songs on the main album) are titled “Angelsong” and (pronounced “Wave”).

Coldplay performed “Moon Music” and “The Karate Kid” live for the first time during an intimate show in New York last night.
Chris Martin and company took the stage at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg capacity in Brooklyn for a SiriusXM Presents concert in support of their 10th and final album, “Moon Music.”
The band opened the 13-song set with a performance of the title track from their new album, before playing the singles “feelslikeimfallinginlove” and “We Pray” with Tini as a special guestas well as fan favorites like “Viva La Vida”, “A Sky Full Of Stars” and “Yellow”.
Additionally, Coldplay delighted the crowd with a rare performance of “God Put A Smile Upon Your Face” from their 2002 second album, “A Rush Of Blood To The Head.”
