Amira Aly: What does your brother think about Christian Düren?

In the new episode of their Podimo podcast “Liebes Leben”, Amira Aly (32) and her brother Hima answer questions from their followers. Of course, most of them concerned her ex-husband Oliver Pocher (46). But Amira didn’t want to talk about “you know who,” as Pocher called her. “I really don’t feel like it anymore,” she said.

But it went into more detail about her new partner Christian Düren (34). A fan wanted to know how her brother got along with the ProSieben presenter. And Hima doesn’t hide the fact that their relationship wasn’t particularly good, at least at the beginning.

Hima: Christian Düren has “established a certain distance”

Christian Düren initially “built up a certain distance,” said Hima. He got the impression that his sister’s new guy didn’t like him. Finally, he continues to spend time with his ex-brother-in-law Oliver Pocher from time to time.

Hima, on the other hand, was initially “sceptical or cautious” towards Düren. The reason: Düren seemed “too nice and too good” to him. In the podcast he compared him to Barbie’s plastic lover Ken. “I always thought to myself that there has to be a balance, it can’t be that someone is just good,” says Hima.

The relationship has now improved and they are getting to know each other better. “I wish you nothing but the best, just wait and see what happens like the other 100 exes,” Hima told his sister.

Amira Aly also provided a little insight into life with Christian Düren in the podcast. She revealed that the presenter was already traveling alone with the two sons she has with Oliver Pocher. They went to the zoo and to the hairdresser, among other things. There the boys were given a hairstyle that reminded Hima of the top cuts of the Amish people.
