Currently, we work with a group of goat producers from Córdoba, more precisely from Cruz del Eje and also from the provinces of Catamarca and La Rioja. Currently, La Primera is present with its products such as fluid milk, whole and skim milk powder and goat’s milk candy in the main supermarket chains and diet stores. In this context, The company is also strong as a bulk supplier of goat milk for the food industry, for example this year it positioned itself as a supplier to Rapanui who uses the raw material in the production of dulce de leche ice cream.

“One of the characteristics of The first is that it is certified as a B companywhich makes us the first goat dairy company in the country to have received this certification, which is granted only to firms that pass an evaluation on their environmental and social performance, transparency and corporate responsibility. hWe put a lot of focus on the raw materials and the manufacturing processes, our products are 100% natural, without additives and gluten-free, we only use residual milk so as not to interfere with lactation and in addition almost 50% of the energy we use comes from from renewable sources,” explains Ruiz.

Regarding the firm’s plans for the short term, for now its general manager will be present at the SIAL international food fair in Paris, which will take place in the coming weeks, with the aim of adding more clients abroad. “Today we mainly export milk powder and dulce de leche and we would like to continue adding markets and clients, the Asian market is very important and we seek to continue expanding. The same happens with the South American market, mainly Brazil, Uruguay and Chile, where we already have a presence.a, but we want to continue deepening our arrival with finished and bulk products. Fortunately, goat milk is becoming more and more relevant due to its nutritional and digestive qualities and that allows us to draw up an expansion plan for the short and medium term,” advances the general manager of La Primera.
