Girls in Technology presents the 11th edition of the Girls Leaders in Technologyan event that was consolidated to motivate and awaken the interest of young people who identify with the female gender, in areas of science and technology.
The proposal annual and freeseeks not only to call for new vocations, but also to empower adolescent girls between 13 and 23 years old, to explore technology as a tool for social change.
The event will be next October 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., both in person at the Metropolitan Design Center (CMD) in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, as in format virtualto allow the participation of young people from all over Latin America via streaming (www.chicaslideres.com).

Young women face various barriers that limit their knowledge, interest, and academic and professional development in the areas of science and technology.
