“I authorize the immediate return of activities” of X in the country, the magistrate wrote in his decision. Alexandre de Moraes, after the platform complied with all judicial demands, including the payment of fines.

Moraes gave the telecommunications regulatory agency Anatel 24 hours to take the “necessary measures” to make the old Twitter available in Latin America’s largest country.
The decision comes at the end of a series of clashes between Musk, who claims to defend freedom of expression, and the powerful Brazilian judge.
Previously, the company had to pay 28.6 million reais (US$5.2 million) in fines and comply with orders to suspend accounts accused of misinforming, something that the American billionaire resisted on several occasions.
Access to the old Twitter was banned in the country on August 30 by order of Moraes, who accused the network of disobeying orders to remove accounts linked to ultra-conservative movements and Bolsonarism in Brazil and flagged for misinformation.
The judge also ordered the platform, with 22 million users in Brazil, to appoint a legal representative in the country, a requirement that was also complied with.
