Sean “Diddy” Combs: His daughters visited him in prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently in custody and the allegations are serious. Now he received visits from parts of his family.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been in custody in New York since mid-September. The musician is accused of human trafficking, fraud and sexual assault. But his family continues to support him and was now allowed to visit him in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

the 54-year-old received a visit last week from his twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila (17, from his relationship with model Kim Porter, who died in 2018) and his mother Janice Small Combs. While in the visitor’s wing, they were able to talk and hug under the close supervision of prison staff, according to the report.

A visit with consequences

After her son’s emotional visit, his mother, through her attorney Natlie G. Figgers, issued a statement on behalf of the Combs family on Oct. 6 proclaiming his innocence. She regrets that he hasn’t had the opportunity to tell his side of the story yet. In the statement she recited, she condemned the public “lynching” of her son and stressed that he was not “the monster they portrayed him to be.”

Sean Combs is not perfect and has “made mistakes in the past, like all of us,” but he is not guilty of the allegations against him. “It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not by the truth, but by a narrative made up of lies.”

Janice Small Combs further emphasizes: “False allegations of sexual assault prevent true victims of sexual violence from receiving the justice they deserve.” This “injustice” is “unbearable” for the entire family.

The court twice refused to release him on $50 million bail. The public prosecutor’s office is said to assume that there is too great a risk of escape.
