Hugh Jackman will be on stage for a series of concerts in New York in 2025. He announced his new project with a funny clip.
Hugh Jackman (55) announced in a video that he is planning several stage shows in New York City in 2025. In order to announce the concert series as amusingly as possible, he got help from “Deadpool & Wolverine” co-star and friend Ryan Reynolds (47).
Ryan Reynolds is not allowed on stage
First, Jackman, sitting on a sofa, explains that his colleague announced on his own behalf around two years ago that Jackman would return as Wolverine for “Deadpool & Wolverine”. “It was the time of my life, Ryan and I had a great adventure. But what’s next?” Jackman then asks his co-star, who appears behind him, “Hey Ryan, do you want to come to one of my live performances at Radio City Music Hall?” The two then discuss whether Reynolds will be part of the show, which Jackman says no. “On stage, no. But in my heart, yes,” explains Jackman, joking that his colleague might be watching a technical rehearsal from a distance. “I won the friendship lottery,” Reynolds replies mockingly.
“In his first live concert series in five years, Jackman will perform songs from some of his most iconic roles such as ‘The Boy From Oz,’ “The Greatest Showman’ and ‘The Music Man’ as well as other surprises from his career.”
In 2025, the concerts will take place on January 24th and 25th, April 18th and 19th, May 23rd and 24th, June 20th and 21st, July 18th and 19th and August 15th and 16th. The pre-sale begins on October 17th, with the official pre-sale starting the following day.
