As you may recall, Whedon joined the film version of “Justice League” after departure from Zack Snyder and therefore he is pointed out as one of the main responsible for the changes that occurred in that version of the film with respect to what is now colloquially known as the “Snyder Cut”.

In fact, Whedon said that although Warner Bros. executives had initially told him he would only write for the film and offer advice on the remainder of development, eventually he would have realized that “they had lost faith in Snyder’s vision and wanted to take control” according to NY Magazine.
Warner Bros refuted that version of the facts by reaffirming the tension that exists around this issue and that began to take shape since Whedon headed the reshoots of the film. After all, the same NY Magazine article tells that a person who worked on the film indicated that the director did not get along with the cast and even during a point in the shooting would have pointed out that he had never worked with “a ruder group of people ”.
The director of “The Avengers” did not deny these tensions on the set and said that Gal Gadot I would have told him that he didn’t know how superhero movies worked. But of course, Gadot has his own testimony and as you will remember long ago he assured that Whedon would have threatened his career.

NY Magazine indicates that the actress in the skin of Wonder Woman responded to this new statement from Whedon with a simple phrase: “I understood perfectly.”
On the other hand, regarding the sayings of Ray Fisher Against him, Whedon refuted the testimony of the actor behind Cyborg and assured that both would have spent several hours discussing their dialogues in the film in good terms, so for the director the actor’s accusations “are not true nor do they deserve to be discussed.” .
“We are talking about a malevolent force. We are talking about a bad actor in both senses, ”accused Whedon.
Given this, NY Magazine asked Whedon about an alleged unsubstantiated theory that proposes that the accusations of Fisher and Charisma Carpenter (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) would be part of something orchestrated by Zack Snyder. “I don’t know who started it,” Whedon replied. “I only know in whose name it was done.”
Whedon also justified the reduction of Cyborg’s role in the film cut by stating that the character’s plot was “logically nonsense” and that Fisher’s performance was not good.
NY Magazine says that one of its sources would have said that Cyborg would not have been well received by the public in the hearing tests. However, in his statements, Fisher maintains that there would be a racist motivation behind the reduction of his roles.
Until now Fisher has not addressed these new statements by Whedon and it should be remembered that although Warner Bros conducted an investigation into what happened in the refilming of Justice League, the results of these skills have not been disclosed until now and it is only presumed that the departure of Whedon from The Nevers series would be a consequence of that.
