At the age of 83, Hollywood legend Al Pacino became a father again. This is what the unexpected late fatherhood feels like for him.
In his long career, US superstar Al Pacino (84) became a living legend through roles in Hollywood classics such as “The Godfather”, “Scarface” and “Heat”. In an interview he now talks about his role as a father of several children, in which he doesn’t win any Oscars, but there is a lot of happiness to be won.
Incredulous reaction to late fatherhood
When Noor Alfallah (30) told him that he was pregnant, the actor initially couldn’t believe it, nor did his worldwide fan base. According to media reports, the elderly film icon even underwent a DNA test to ensure that he was actually the father of the expected child. Pacino actually assumed that he would no longer be able to bring any more offspring into the world.
His son Roman is now around 16 months old, but Pacino says he is not in a relationship. In one, however, the actor signaled that he was just as responsible for the late child as he had already done for his now adult children, who come from previous relationships.
Children made him a better person
Because in the conversation he asserts: “It’s just so wonderful to have children. I loved it.” He adds: “It changed me, if you will, for the better. It changed me forever. And the idea that you focus on other people who happen to be your children… that’s love .”
When asked how late fatherhood feels for him, he answers as routinely as euphorically: “Well, it’s always the same. It’s always the same. It’s a little miracle. That’s all I can say. “
