Ralph Siegel and his doctors did not give up in the fight against cancer. The greatest danger is “averted for now,” he says.
Music producer and composer Ralph Siegel (79) has been fighting cancer for many years. He was considered cancer-free several times before receiving the dire diagnosis for the fourth time, reported in September. that he is apparently on the mend.
His doctor congratulated Ralph Siegel
“My doctor just called me and congratulated me,” Siegel told the daily newspaper. After his therapy, his PSA value (prostate-specific antigen) was “down from 14 to 0”. Metastases in the area of the thoracic vertebrae are currently not life-threatening and are under control, as the report continues. The 79-year-old “thank God and my doctors that they managed to do this.”
As “Bild” now writes, Siegel was diagnosed with prostate cancer for the fourth time in the spring. He was treated with medication and radiation. The music producer has to continue taking tablets and is under medical supervision, as he explains: “But the worst danger has been averted for now! And that makes me very happy right now.”
Siegel is considered one of the most influential German musicians when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). For example, he composed the song “A little Peace”, with which Nicole (59) won the competition in 1982. One of his wishes is to take part in the ESC again; he already has ideas for a song.
