Oliver Pocher and his ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden comment on the drama surrounding Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria Rypa in the podcast.
Comedian Oliver Pocher (46) and his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden (41) address the alleged altercation between Pietro Lombardi (32) and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa ( 28) on the night of October 7th.
After differences of opinion between the parents of two small sons (born in January 2023 and August 2024), there was a police operation at the musician’s address. The police confirmed this to broadcaster RTL. As a result, Rypa and her seven-week-old baby were taken to a clinic in Cologne.
Pocher and Meyer-Wölden speak of a “huge police operation”
Pocher and Meyer-Wölden also confirm a police operation in the podcast, because they live in the neighborhood of Lombardi and Rypa in a posh district of Cologne. “Funnily enough, I saw blue lights on that one [Pietro] in front of the house. That’s just around the corner from us,” says Pocher. And Meyer-Wölden specifies: “There was a huge police operation and I thought to myself: Wow – it’s actually quite quiet in the area where we live. It’s unusual for ten patrol cars to pull up…” Pocher interrupts, there could have obviously been fewer emergency vehicles, “at least four large vans,” but she is certain.
It is unclear why the two, at least Pocher and Lombardi have been friends for a long time, talk about it so casually. The dramatic topic, which involves violence against a woman, is introduced by Pocher with: “How is Pietro Lombardi – and what storm was there at home?” Meyer-Wölden adds: “Speaking of hurricanes. I think a small hurricane has just hit the Lombardis.” To which Pocher says: “Of course it’s a hit – you have to be careful with the terminology now.” Meyer-Wölden also urges caution: Pietro has “already rejected” the allegations via his lawyer.
A little later it sounds as if Pocher wanted to protect his friend: “The question is: How, where, what, when exactly happened. In any case, they argued and that’s what happens “It’s such a classic in the best families. The question is always who will call the police and why – or will anyone outside be involved.”
Rypa and Lombardi are silent
Unlike the ex-couple, who have recently been living in Pocher’s Cologne house with their children, those actually involved in the conflict have sworn to secrecy via social media. Late Tuesday evening her Instagram stories said:
“Due to the current headlines, we have to speak out. The press is trying to aggravate the conflict even more and often doesn’t take certain statements very seriously. We don’t want that, so we won’t give it a platform here and act in the interests of our children. so that the public is kept out.” They would understand that many people would have questions. However, they ask that you refrain from making further inquiries.
