Pietro Lombardi and Oliver Pocher: They stick together as friends

Oliver Pocher and Pietro Lombardi are not only neighbors, but also good friends. And that despite the fact that Pocher has criticized the singer in the past.

They are close friends, even if they don’t agree on everything. And so Oliver Pocher tried in his current podcast episode to put the bad headlines about Pietro Lombardi into perspective. On the night of October 7th, there was a police operation in Lombardi’s house, where he lives with his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa. There is an accusation of violence, which Lombardi denies through his lawyer.

Oliver Pocher and Pietro Lombardi are friends

“The question is: How, where, what, when exactly happened. In any case, they had an argument and that happens in the best families. This is such a classic. The question is always who calls the police, when and why.” said Pocher in the podcast, in which he also explained that he didn’t think there would be any professional consequences for Lombardi.

Pocher also noticed the police operation, after all he and Lombardi are neighbors. It’s not just their place of residence – a posh district of Cologne – that connects the two. Pocher and Lombardi have been close friends for several years. “I really appreciate Oli, and he has always given me good advice when making important decisions in my career,” Lombardi explained on Instagram in the summer of this year.

When Oliver Pocher and ex-wife Amira Aly became victims of the flood disaster in North Rhine-Westphalia in the summer of 2021 and their house was completely under water, Lombardi reacted immediately. At that time he himself moved into a hotel and left his new villa to the then married couple. “Of course they could have gone to a hotel. But who wants to live in a hotel for months? It’s torture, the children are ruined. So I told him: Here’s my key,” he said at the time.

Disagreements

At the time, Pocher thanked his friend for his selflessness. “There are a lot of people who say: ‘Oh great, of course, if something happens, contact me immediately.’ But someone who really says: ‘Do it, no matter how long it takes…’ – that’s really strong,” he said in an RTL interview.

The friendship between the two also survived one or two disses from Pocher. When Amira Aly congratulated her new father Pietro in the podcast with Pocher (they were both still in a relationship), Pocher reacted with a lot of irony. “But he keeps it completely secret on social media, right? No, it just went completely under the radar,” he joked. Pocher doesn’t believe in celebrities and influencers discussing their children too much on Instagram.

Laura Maria Rypa reacted angrily on social media at the time. “I don’t need to say anything about it. Everyone has their own opinion about what they think of people, and I have mine too,” she said in the direction of Pocher.

The taunts didn’t harm their friendship. “True friendship doesn’t end. For me, being a friend means being there in good times and bad, and that’s me, and Oli is the same,” said Lombardi in the summer. Now he could use a good friend.
