The Argentine Association of Actors suspended Fabián Gianola for the complaints against him

“We ask the Argentine Association of Actors to immediately withdraw from its status as a partner and affiliate to the aforementioned actor, in accordance with the provisions of the Social Statute that provides for this sanction in the event of notorious misconduct by an affiliate,” wrote Argentine Actresses.

At the moment the actor faces 12 cases, both judicial and media, for simple sexual abuse and with carnal access from: Fernanda Meneses, Viviana Aguirre, Andrea Ghidone, Dallys Ferreira, Celina Rucci, Luciana Salazar, Natacha Jaitt, Fabiola Yáñez, Mercedes Funes , Stefy Xipolitakis, Griselda Sánchez and some time ago the complaint of the domestic employee of her neighbors was added.

The last thing that is known about the causes is that the justice ruled “lack of merit” in the first instance against Gianola, but even so, the psychological expertise of two other complainants remains to be known.

“When the time has come to resolve the procedural situation of Fabián Javier Gianola, I consider that -in accordance with the lack of evidence gathered in the case so far- it is pertinent to order the lack of merit to dismiss or prosecute the person named, as prescribed in article 309 of the Nation’s Criminal Procedure Code,” said the investigating judge.

“Beyond what justice determines, we are hundreds of actors and actresses, who expect a favorable result for this request, since the idea of sharing (with him) any space for artistic work is unbearable for us. Because we do not keep quiet more and so that our colleague knows that she is supported, feels accompanied and contained; to continue fighting for work environments free of harassment, abuse and any form of violence”, concludes the request from Actrices Argentinas.
