Norwegian-British soccer star Erling Haaland and his girlfriend Isabel are expecting a baby. He announced this with a funny post.
The Norwegian-British Manchester City star Erling Haaland (24) is becoming a father for the first time. The Leeds, England-born sports professional made the announcement on Thursday night’s account.
The soccer star can be seen in his jersey in the stadium after the national team game against Slovenia, in which he became Norway’s new record goalscorer. He pushed the very ball with which he achieved this under his jersey as a baby bump and put his thumb in his mouth to suck on. He smiles mischievously into the camera.
As a comment, Erling Haaland has two emojis: a baby’s head and the arrow with “soon” underneath.
“It’s fantastic for Erling. I’m very happy for him. It’s a big day for him,” congratulated his national team colleague Morten Thorsby (28) after the game: “It’s incredibly fun, and he’s probably still going to become a father to become bigger as a record goalscorer,” he commented.

Many of his 38.9 million followers are happy for the father-to-be; Haaland collected 1.4 million likes for his post within just a few hours.
He is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen. She also used to play football. It was through this shared passion that the two met in their hometown of Bryne. The two are not yet revealing when the baby is coming.
