Bianca “Bibi” Heinicke reveals the reasons for her withdrawal

After ten years of continuous presence, Bianca “Bibi” Heinicke withdrew from the media for 20 months in 2022. She now revealed the reasons for this during a TV appearance.

For a long time she was one of the most successful influencers in the country until she disappeared from the media for a long time in 2022. On Thursday, Bianca “Bibi” Heinicke was a guest of Sophie Passmann and Tommi Schmidt on the show “Neo Ragazzi” (ZDFneo) and talked about the reasons for her long absence. Her entire life was focused on social media. “My whole day consisted of producing content,” says Heinicke. She felt a constant compulsion to reveal something about herself.

Because of her prominence, she was constantly recognized on the street. “I couldn’t go anywhere anymore,” said the 31-year-old. She was also personally attacked. “That got to me at some point.” At some point she reached a point where she said: “I hate people.”

The long absence was unusual for a woman who based her career on making private matters public. From 2012 onwards, Heinicke appeared regularly in front of the camera – usually several times a week. In her YouTube format “BibisBeautyPalace” she talked about her life and also gave make-up tips. In the mid-2010s, she became one of the most successful influencers in the country, with around six million people subscribing to her channel.

There she also introduced her friend Julian Claaßen, who made his career on YouTube as Julienco. Both let the world share in their private happiness and also provided insights into their private homes. The wedding followed in 2018, the couple had two children, and the separation became public in the summer of 2022.

After that it became quiet around Bibi. At the beginning of the year, the Cologne native returned to Instagram after an absence of around 20 months – and announced to her 8.3 million followers that she would keep her private life out of social media in the future. Instead, she launched her website in July of this year, where she writes about topics such as veganism and meditation. She is also doing a distance learning course to become a vegan nutritionist.

According to Heinicke, her Instagram comeback is not about getting as many likes as possible, but rather about conveying positivity. This includes the paid podcast “SinnSafari,” which she produces together with her new friend Timothy Hill.
