Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West gives her first interview

At eleven years old, children are already too old for the sandbox, but playing is still high on the agenda for most of them. North West and her famous mother sat down for a conversation for Interview magazine. Kardashian asks her daughter, and she answers questions. And sometimes when West speaks, he definitely sounds like a child. “I don’t like school,” she says, and although she enjoys art, art classes are “annoying.” Kardashian wants to know from her daughter what she does when her three siblings get on her nerves. “When they annoy me, I just say, ‘Yo, get out of my room. I’m not feeling it,'” North West replies.

But not everything that North West says in the interview would be heard from a normal eleven-year-old child. “Do you like being in front of the camera?” Kardashian asks. “I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like it when paparazzi do it. If I just woke up and there’s so many paparazzi, I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m going to sue you.’ When I’m ready, when I’m not tired, when my outfit is good, I think, ‘Okay, I could take a photo,'” she explains confidently. Even when North West was a toddler, pictures of her making faces at the paparazzi caused laughs. As funny as these were, it’s hard to imagine the impact the constant flashes have on a small child.

She launches a clothing brand

North West also seems to already have clear ideas about his career. “I’m launching my own clothing line,” she says of her plans. This should be called North West. Laughing, Kardashian then wants to know what North wants to do when she grows up. “I don’t know, because I’m already doing a lot of things that I want to do when I grow up. I just want to pursue my careers now,” she replies.

The two also talk about Kanye West in the interview. North explains that the best day of her life was a day in Italy with her father and three siblings. “It was just us and my siblings, and that’s when I really brought them close to God, because we had this house and there were these devil statues, and (…) I said, ‘We have to pray.’ So I taught Chi and Psalm and Saint how to pray. After that, God really did his thing,” she recalls. She prefers to travel to Japan, where the “style” is the coolest. She also liked New York.

At the end of their conversation, Kim Kardashian asks her daughter what her fake name is: “Katie Johnson,” she answers. If your name is North West, Katie Johnson probably sounds exotic.
