In the summer of 2023, Oliver Pocher and Amira Aly announced their separation. Today the relationship between the ex-spouses is apparently mixed.
Amira Aly (32) spoke to her brother Hima Aly in “Liebes Leben” about her current relationship with her ex-husband Oliver Pocher (46). “It never gets boring. Sometimes it’s good one day, sometimes it’s not. There’s still no constant,” says the presenter.
She no longer deals with the attacks of her ex-partner, who kept tagging her in stories on Instagram around a year after the separation. “To be honest, I don’t care anymore. I don’t look at it, I don’t listen to it, I don’t even read it anymore. It’s really become so unimportant,” Aly asserts.
Conversations between the ex-spouses now only take place because of their two children. “I’ve done a lot in the last few months, perhaps too much. I forgave too much too quickly and pretended to be normal for the sake of the children,” remembers Amira Aly. At some point, however, this behavior had a negative effect on her body, which is why she “escaped” to Austria: “The battery was so empty. My whole body itched, my eyes twitched, constantly, for weeks.”
Psychological support after a breakdown
The final collapse occurred while filming the trailer for the game show “Schlag den Star” against Vanessa Mai (32), which was broadcast in August. After she was “bombarded” with messages again by Oliver Pocher, she started to cry and admitted to herself: “I need help.”
Aly immediately looked for a therapy place and finally found a good psychologist through an acquaintance. “That was just incredibly important for me. From the first appointment, I felt a little relief that I said: Okay, well, now I’ll be taken care of,” she reports to her brother. Her therapy today is her “me time and I love it. I would recommend it to everyone and it has saved me the last few months.”
Amira Aly and Oliver Pocher were married from 2019 to 2024. After the separation was announced, there were repeated public arguments. Around a year after Pocher and Aly made the end of their relationship public, Pocher confirmed on Instagram at the beginning of September that the two were “officially divorced”.
