Llaryora also commented that they will do so “accompanying each investment that reaches our territory with tax benefits, contribution of own capital, training, infrastructure works, among other aspects.”
“Córdoba has a solid productive and technological matrix, with innovation and competitiveness, which consolidates its productive profile at the national, regional and global level. That is why it is essential to advance policies that encourage the generation of genuine jobs and stop the fall of the employment”, the president concluded.
The RIGI and the accession of the provinces
It is worth remembering that, after the approval of Congress of the Bases law, Black River It was the first province to join the RIGI, driven by the bid with Buenos Aires for the joint Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant between YPF and the Malaysian oil company Petronas.
Later, after the approval of their legislatures, they also joined Jujuy, Mendoza and San Juanamong others, with special interest in developing large-scale mining projects, highlighting those linked to lithium in the north.
Chubutmeanwhile, also gave the green light to the regulations, although with the particularity of not include open pit mining, an activity that is prohibited by the legislation of the Patagonian district.
In an interview with Scopethe Secretary of Mining of the Nation, Luis Luceroreferred to the impact of RIGI on the million-dollar sale of different companies and pointed out that “RIGI contributes a lot, it’s what they tell us, it’s what transcends, what they let us know.”
“The RIGI is important, they expressly tell us, it was important. Because it was a factor that ended up deciding, and in some cases it ended up being a decisive factor. Many things are going well, if you add the RIGI the account ends up being positive and then the investor goes ahead and comes to Argentina”, Lucero reflected.
