Actress Veronica Ferres (59) has filmed with numerous world stars such as ex-James Bond Pierce Brosnan or Golden Globe award-winning John Malkovich, but for her the greatest among them is Sir Anthony Hopkins. She appeared in front of the camera with him for the film “Zero Contact” (2022).
“I would really like to work with him again,” Ferres told the German press agency dpa. And that’s not just wishful thinking: “There is actually a project that could turn into a new collaboration. Let’s see if that comes about.” Hopkins (“The Silence of the Lambs” 1991, “Times of Upheaval” 2022) is already 86, but there is no end in sight to his career.
Ferres admires Hopkins’ acting. “He’s incredibly playful in everything and very fascinating. Hopkins has such a direct connection to his emotions and his childishness. That’s a great asset that many adults lose.”
