Sean “Diddy” Combs: He wants the real names of the alleged victims

The prosecution against Sean “Diddy” Combs is gaining momentum. His lawyers are now demanding the names of the victims. Will these be revealed soon?

The lawyers of the imprisoned musician Sean “Diddy” Combs (54) are apparently going into attack mode. As US media consistently report, the rapper’s legal team is now trying to find out the names of the alleged victims in the criminal proceedings. So far, the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office has refused to release their real names for reasons of privacy protection and to prevent the plaintiffs from being put under pressure.

Diddy’s lawyers submitted relevant documents on Tuesday. A federal judge should order the public prosecutor’s office to release the names so that the defense can actually deal with the allegations in concrete terms. Otherwise, Diddy’s team argued, it would be impossible to organize a reasonable defense. The rapper has been accused numerous times of “abusing, threatening and coercing” numerous men and women in order to satisfy his sexual desires. Some of the victims are said to be minors.

Is “Victim 1” Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie?

The documents also state that only if Diddy knew the names could he present “extensive evidence” that would reveal the “interactions with the alleged victims” as “consensual.” The authorities should now finally name Ross and Reiter, who exactly would allege Combs’ “non-consensual actions” in court and law enforcement.

The 14-page indictment so far only mentions “Victim 1”, “Victim 2″, Victim 3”, etc. The media speculates that “Victim 1” is his ex-girlfriend Cassie (38). Based on the witness statements, Diddy’s lawyers also assume that “Victim 1” is the musician. A representative of the public prosecutor’s office has so far refused to comment on the real name.

Diddy has been in custody in a prison in the New York borough of Brooklyn since September. The court refused bail several times. The trial is scheduled to begin in May 2025. It is currently not expected that the musician will be released again before the negotiations. He faces life in prison if convicted.
