Now the diagnosis is there: Silvia Wollny had a stroke. This was discovered in a clinic after an MRI scan.
Great concern for Silvia Wollny (59): the extended family mother suffered a stroke. Wollny had previously complained of flu-like symptoms, had constant headaches and visual problems. As will be seen in episode 26 of “The Wollnys – A Terribly Big Family” on October 16th at 8:15 p.m. on RTLzwei, Silvia Wollny only had herself extensively examined in a Turkish hospital at the urging of her loved ones. In the meantime, after a marathon examination, the corresponding diagnosis was made: cerebral stroke.
The clinic actually wanted to keep Wollny for several days, but she quickly dismissed it: “I’m definitely not staying here! They can do tests for me. That’s a real torture that I have to endure.” After the devastating certainty, Wollny is not allowed to go home: “I’m definitely not allowed to fly now because there are no values yet,” Silvia explains to her fiancé Harald. She now wants to get opinions from other doctors so that she can decide when and how she can return home.
MRI examination brought certainty
In an interview with RTL, the reality TV actress explained her complaints: “I had pressure in my head, headaches and bruises on my head.” In addition, she would have experienced general health restrictions. All of her bones hurt and she often had to lie down and quickly got tired. During an MRI scan in the hospital it was finally discovered that an artery in the brain was closed. However, it has not yet been possible to determine how long this has been the case.
In addition to the MRI, other thorough examinations were performed on Wollny, such as an EKG, a CT scan, an ultrasound of the carotid artery and an eye examination. The doctors only found what they were looking for in the MRI; all other findings were negative, says Wollny.
