Within the framework of World Food Day, the Civil Association “United Dreamers”, made up of community kitchens and picnic areas, held a solidarity meeting in Congress this Wednesday, October 16, with the aim of demanding that legislators deal with the bill. “Full Bellies.”

The objective was to make visible the work that these institutions do to fight for the initiative presented in Congress in October 2020 and reformulated in December 2022.

“Pancitas Llenas” is a project that has a transcendental importance to win the battle against hunger, since 11.1% of boys and girls receive food from non-school canteens.

Faced with this painful reality, the representatives of the dining rooms and picnic areas of the Soñadores Unidos Civil Association, with great enthusiasm, were present at the Congress, “to fight hunger and social exclusion with our best tools: empathy, love, justice and equity, and to raise awareness about food problems and promote actions for change that strengthen food security.”
