Florian Silbereisen has to do without a music star at “Schlagerbooom 2024”: Tim Toupet cannot perform with Mickie Krause.
Tim Toupet (52) “with a heavy heart” has to cancel his participation in “Schlagerbooom” for health reasons. The party pop singer announced this on Instagram. Unfortunately, he is too ill to fly to Germany, he explains in a video and writes in his post: “I wish Mickie Krause much success in the performance of our joint song ‘Dann ich Schlager auf’ and all the artists and viewers a great one Show.”
In the clip, the “Ich bin ein Döner” singer goes on to say that he will watch the performance on television. “I hope you do too. I wish Mickie a lot of fun, rock our number.” Toupet and his Mallorca colleague Mickie Krause (54) released the duet “Dann ich Schlager auf” at the beginning of September.
Schlager party in Dortmund
The “Schlagerbooom” with presenter Florian Silbereisen (43) will take place on October 19th in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. Under the motto “Everything sparkles! Everything glitters!” The location is supposed to be transformed “into a huge sea of lights”. Over 20,000 Schlager fans are expected. If you can’t be there, you have the opportunity to watch the show live on Erste on the same day from 8:15 p.m. The first recording (dress rehearsal) will take place on October 18th.
Silbereisen welcomes guests to his show again this time. The guests in 2024 include: Andrea Berg (58), Andreas Gabalier (39), Roland Kaiser (72), Kerstin Ott (42), David Garrett (44) and Howard Carpendale (78).
