An argument between Pietro Lombardi and his fiancée continues to cause a stir. The singer’s mother also gets in touch.
After reports of an allegedly violent argument between Pietro Lombardi (32) and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa as well as allegations of domestic violence, his mother is sticking by him, according to a media report. “I stand by my son,” she said, referring to the events of the past time.
The contact with the singer, who originally became known through the casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, is therefore good. However, Lombardi’s mother asks herself a question: “It’s strange when you say everything stays secret, and suddenly everything is in the newspaper. Where does it all come from?”

Initially there were reports of a police operation on Lombardi and his fiancée after an apparently serious argument in Cologne on the night of October 7th. In a statement, Lombardi’s lawyer said: “Our client did not use violence against his fiancée on the night of October 7, 2024. There were differences of opinion that involved insults on both sides.” In an “emotional argument” it is too “[…] mutual touching, but not any use of violence by our client against his fiancée.
Rypa then called the police. Lombardi’s side emphatically rejects the accusation of domestic violence. In identical statements from Lombardi and Rypa it was said that the couple wanted to act in the interests of their two children and not to speak further publicly about the matter.
The two recently published a picture in their Instagram stories in which the singer gives his fiancée a kiss on the cheek. She smiles, she has the couple’s baby in her arms. “Hello everyone, unfortunately we haven’t been able to get in touch with you or say anything about it so far,” it says. “We are really shocked at what is being spread in the media at the moment and that things are emerging that have not been properly researched and reported.” They are currently apparently being increasingly followed and harassed by paparazzi.
Lombardi and Rypa only became parents again a few weeks ago. that their son Amelio Elija was born. Their first son together, Leano (1), was born in early 2023. Pietro Lombardi also has another son, Alessio (9), from a previous marriage with the singer Sarah Engels (32).
