At Prada’s summer 2024 show, some models looked like they came straight from the stables. Although they wore chic skirts and embroidered blouses, they also wore jackets that one would expect to find more in the country than on the catwalk. They were made of sturdy, water-repellent cotton, had a boxy cut, some were olive green or sandy beige, and had a leather collar in a contrasting color. As if the models couldn’t wait to finally get off work, they strode quickly through the amazed-looking audience with their hands in their pockets.
