In his podcast, Thomas Gottschalk firmly rejects allegations that he touched women on TV.

At the beginning of the month, the former “Wetten,dass..?” presenter Thomas Gottschalk (74) caused a stir with a “Spiegel” interview. the 74-year-old said he “touched women on TV purely for business purposes”. The entertainer and his long-time companion Mike Krüger (72) now reflected on the past few weeks and the huge media response to Gottschalk’s statements. Gottschalk stated, among other things: “I can’t remember ever harassing women on my show.”

In an interview with “Spiegel”, which was published on October 11th, Gottschalk was asked, among other things, about the members of the Spice Girls on “Wetten,dass…?” at the end of the 1990s. to have touched on TV. Even back then, he said that the women’s group had “pulled me around too.”

In the new edition of the “Supernasen” podcast, Gottschalk emphasizes that he “didn’t touch any of the ladies, but they were constantly pulling on me.” And further: “The Spice Girls had their hands on my clothes longer than I had my hands on their clothes.”

Karina Gottschalk’s (62) husband is even clearer elsewhere. He says: “I reject any accusation that I used my position to inappropriately touch women on my sofa. That was never my intention, and it was never something I could have afforded with 20 million who were watching.”
