Prominent actress

Boisson became known as a teenager. She appeared in the erotic film “Emmanuelle” by Just Jaeckin (1940-2022) in 1974 as a 17-year-old. Her character, the teenager Marie-Ange, meets the main character Emmanuelle (Sylvia Kristel, 1952-2012) here in Thailand.

“Emmanuelle” was a gigantic success in France and worldwide, but Boisson didn’t want to be associated only with the image of an erotic actress. “She didn’t like it at all,” said her daughter Kowski, looking back.

Following this early success, Boisson attended a renowned Parisian acting school and appeared in the 1980 feature film “The Taxi Driver” by Jacques Bral (1948-2021) and in 1982 in “Identification of a Woman” by the legendary Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni (1912-2007). In 1984 she was the first winner of the Romy Schneider Prize for young actresses.
