In the second season, a young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner. More details about the second season will be revealed later.

The first season of Beef, starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wongwas released in 2023 and won a host of awards, including eight Emmy Awards, four Critics Choice Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two Gotham Awards, two Film Independent Spirit Awards, two SAG Awards, as well as PGA, WGA, and AFI.
In the first season, Yeun and Wong play two strangers whose lives strangely collide after being involved in a road rage incident. The story is based on Lee’s personal experience with a road rage incident.
