Shell will sell LNG to Türkiye for 10 years starting in 2027

The Turkish state energy company Boots signed an agreement last month with Shell to import an annual volume of 4,000 million cubic meters of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for 10 years starting in 2027.

Its largest suppliers are Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran, with which the country is connected by gas pipelines, while a third of its imports arrive by sea in the form of LNG, mainly from Algeria and Nigeria.

Shell seeks to increase LNG business up to 30%
