Deeds with mortgage loans grow
In September there was 705 deeds formalized with mortgagewhich represents 13.7% of the total. The rise in that sense is 317.2% compared to the same month last year and 74.3% in the accumulated of the year. In 2024, 1,970 deeds with mortgages have already been completed.
“It is a month that reflects the year-on-year increase: 30% compared to September 2023 and 30% in the consolidated 9 months compared to last year. Despite a slight year-on-year decrease, we once again exceeded 5 thousand writings and we trust that the last quarter will add more activity due to bleach and a greater amount of mortgages“said Jorge De Bártolo, president of the Buenos Aires College of Notaries.
“Mortgage credit has been growing month by month and if we measure it compared to four months ago there is a jump of 500%. The encouraging fact is that they are 700 mortgages and we believe that this number has to rise considerably: that would chain new sales and purchases,” he concluded.
