Heavily pregnant actress Lashana Lynch impressed in her midnight blue ball gown at the “The Day of the Jackal” premiere.
British actress Lashana Lynch (36) was the eye-catcher on the red carpet at the “The Day of the Jackal” premiere on Tuesday at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. The heavily pregnant actress impressed in a strapless, midnight blue ball gown with a bodice that was adjusted to the circumference of her baby bump. A few days earlier she had just announced that she was pregnant.
Lashana paired the elegant gown with several jewel-encrusted earrings, while silver threads were worked into her short hair. She completed her eye-catching look with makeup that included bold, smoky eyeshadow and a touch of pink lipstick.
Accompanied by her husband and co-stars
She was accompanied on the red carpet by her husband Zackary Momoh, who looked good in a black blazer with a tied belt. Her co-star in the upcoming British drama series, Eddie Redmayne (42), also showed off his best side in a silver-grey suit. The Oscar winner wore a matching button-up shirt underneath and completed his look with a silk tie and patent leather shoes.
Lashana first revealed her pregnancy last Thursday when she showed off her baby bump in a tight dress at the premiere of “The Day of the Jackal” in New York.
First female 007 agent
Lashana Lynch played the new 007 agent Nomi in “No Time to Die” (2021) alongside Daniel Craig (56) as retired 007 agent James Bond. Lynch became the first female and first black 007 agent in the “James Bond” series.
The London-born woman with Jamaican roots was most recently seen in the biopic “Bob Marley: One Love” (2024) as the wife and later Bob Marley widow Rita Marley (78). In “Captain Marvel” (2019) she played Maria “Photon” Rambeau, in “The Marvels” (2023) she had a cameo appearance as Rambeau.
