Cassidy was in Argentina with Payne, but traveled to the United States shortly before his death. The influencer shared a touching black and white photo of herself with Payne on Instagram and revealed that the singer wanted to marry her or be engaged to her within a year.
Wedding plans within a year
“I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in a way I can’t put into words,” Cassidy begins her moving lines. She wishes the deceased could “see what a huge impact you had on the world, even if it feels so dark at the moment. You brought so much happiness and positivity into the world – millions of fans, your family, friends and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.”
Payne was her “best friend” and “the love of my life.” He continued: “Everyone you touched felt as special as I did. Your energy was contagious and lit up every room you walked into. None of this feels real and I can’t get used to the new reality “Not having you here. I’m struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side. Together we could be children again and enjoy the littlest things.”
“You will always be with me”
Then the crucial lines about the couple’s wedding plans. “A few weeks ago we were sitting outside one beautiful evening manifesting our life together. I always keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, ‘Me and Kate are getting married within one year/engaged & together forever 444.'”
In this context, the number “444” is intended to express that a person is on the right path, with angels at his side. Cassidy continued, directly addressing the late One Direction singer: “Liam, I know we will be together forever, but not in the way we planned. You will always be with me. I have gained a guardian angel .”
Alongside her moving statement, the influencer posted a series of touching pictures of Payne and herself, including one where she has her arm around him as they lie in the snow and smile at the camera. In many of the pictures, the couple at the time looked very much in love.

Shortly after her partner’s death, Cassidy made a statement in an Instagram story. At the time she explained: “I was completely lost, nothing in the last few days felt real.” And further: “I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam.”
The British musician was found dead in the Argentine capital on October 16th. He fell from his hotel balcony for reasons that have not yet been fully clarified. However, initial investigations indicate a tragic accident under the influence of drugs. Payne was only 31 years old.
Previous media reports said that Payne was in Buenos Aires to work with the US Embassy to extend his US visa. Apparently he had to go through several drug tests to prove to the authorities that he was clean. He passed this and was able to have the visa stamped on Friday, two days after his death. According to reports, his goal was to build a new life with his girlfriend in Miami.
