Rob Lowe and Demi Moore were among the most popular actors in the 80s. But it wasn’t just professionally that the two were close.
Rob Lowe (60) spilled the beans in a conversation with Kelly Ripa (54) and revealed a romance with Demi Moore (61). “Demi and I had a brief moment,” the actor said. “I don’t tell any fairy tales from school – we had a brief affair,” Lowe continued.
Lowe and Moore starred side by side in the 1985 film “St. Elmo’s Fire,” among other things. In the 1980s they belonged to the so-called “Brat Pack” – a group of young actors who often appeared together in clique films and were also known privately as a party group. For Rob Lowe, his romance with Moore came as no surprise. “Whenever you bring young men and women in their 20s together, affairs are inevitable,” he emphasized.
Engagement to another “Brat Pack” star
The connection with Demi Moore didn’t last long, said Rob Lowe. In 1985 she was briefly engaged to Emilio Estevez (62), also part of the “Brat Pack”, before she married action star Bruce Willis (69) in 1987. The two managed to maintain a close friendship, which is why Lowe was even a guest at this wedding.
Rob Lowe himself finally found happiness in the person of make-up artist Sheryl Berkoff (63), to whom he has been married for 33 years. The couple has two sons together.
