British singer Rita Ora is delighted to be leading the MTV Europe Music Awards program for the third time.
Rita Ora (33) now knows her way around the MTV EMAS stage very well. The British singer was already given the honor of hosting the top-class awards ceremony in 2017 and 2022. In 2022 she shared this job with her husband, New Zealand director Taika Waititi (“Jojo Rabbit”, 49). Now she has announced that she will be on stage at the event as a host for the third time this year and will receive the nominated artists.
Singer promises great live acts and lots of surprises

Music manager Bruce Gillmer, 61, who executive produces the annual glamor events, also commented effusively on Ora’s renewed commitment: “The MTV EMAs are taking over Manchester and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate this global music event “To bring back Rita Ora as a fan favorite, Rita’s infectious energy and talent are undeniable, and we are absolutely certain she will take the show to new heights for fans around the world.”
Taylor Swift starts with seven nominations
The 2024 MTV EMAs will air live on MTV in more than 150 countries on Sunday, November 10th. US star Taylor Swift (34) leads the list of nominated international acts with a total of seven nominations, followed by Ariana Grande (31), Billie Eilish (22), Charli XCX (32) and Sabrina Carpenter (25) with five each. Ayliva (26), the Berlin hip-hoppers KIZ, rapper Luciano (30), Pashanim (23) and Shirin David (29) can look forward to being nominated as “Best German Act”.
