After his break: Pete Davidson back in public

Comedian Pete Davidson is back in public after his months-long hiatus.

Pete Davidson (30) appeared in public again for the first time after his therapeutic break in the summer. The US comedian attended an event for the opening of the Inuit Dome, the new arena for the LA Clippers basketball team. He appeared to be in a good mood and posed smiling for the cameras next to singer Machine Gun Kelly (34), as shown by pictures available to “Page Six”, among others.

Davidson wore army green cargo pants combined with a black shirt and a red T-shirt that read “Fire Department New York.” He was apparently remembering his father, who died as a firefighter in the September 11 attacks. Davidson was only seven years old at the time.

Repeated therapies in the past

The former “Saturday Night Live” comedian has been struggling with mental health problems and drug addiction for years. In the summer, Davidson sought therapeutic help again around a month after his separation from actress Madelyn Cline (26). revealed that he admitted himself to a “wellness facility”. As the anonymous source revealed, his mental health was “always a priority.” The comedian only completed inpatient therapy last year.

The US comedian and actor doesn’t mince his words when it comes to his mental health. Since he announced in 2018 that he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, he has repeatedly made his numerous therapies and attempts to get his drug use under control a topic in his stand-up programs.
